Prayer for the Students Impacted by the New Student Space

Day Nineteen

Him we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ. For this I toil, struggling with all his energy that he powerfully works within me.
-Colossians 1:28-29

When you think about discipleship, what comes to mind? What is the goal of discipling others? At the end of the day, the goal of discipleship is to present everyone mature in Christ. With new student space, we look forward to utilizing it to create more opportunities for students to go deeper into community and learn together what it looks like to follow Jesus during these pivotal years.

Lord, we thank you for the opportunity to join in your ministry through prayer, giving, and serving. We thank you for the students that you have put under the care of Providence and the future students who will be discipled. Would you make the new student space a place where students know others and are known by others? Give us the grace we need to disciple up and send out this next generation of gospel leaders. Amen.

As you go through your day:
1. Pray for the salvation of this generation of students. Pray they would be zealous and fervent in serving the Lord.
2. Pray for the Lord to raise up mature followers of Christ to lead and invest in our students.
3. Pray that as students are sent out upon graduation they will be equipped to engage the church and the world with the gospel.
