8 David asked Ahimelek, “Don’t you have a spear or a sword here? I haven’t brought my sword or any other weapon, because the king’s mission was urgent.”
9 The priest replied, “The sword of Goliath the Philistine, whom you killed in the Valley of Elah, is here; it is wrapped in a cloth behind the ephod. If you want it, take it; there is no sword here but that one.”
David said, “There is none like it; give it to me.”
4 POWERFUL & PRACTICAL REMINDERS
Unwrapping Goliath’s Sword reminded David that:
1 It is far more rewarding to advance in courage vs being paralyzed by intimidation

2 The power in the name of Lord in stronger than that of any opposition

David said to the Philistine, “You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.
3 The Lord was with him

So David triumphant, over the Philistine with a sling and a stone without a sword in his hand, he struck down the Philistine and killed him.
4 The sword demons tried to destroy you can be the same weapon God uses for you to chase demons with.
1 Samuel 21:9
