Main Idea:
Is there a God?

Check-In (Highs & Lows) 15 min
Take turns quickly sharing the “highs & lows” of your week. High: What was your biggest highlight since we last met? Low: What was the low point during this time?

Settle-In (Ice-Breaker) 10 min
Have you ever been in a situation where everyone around you knew what was going on, but you didn’t? Explain. How did you react?

Dig-In (Scripture) 35 min
1. Read Ecclesiastes 3:11. What do you think of when you read this verse? Why do you think God placed eternity on our hearts?

2. Read Romans 1:20. Paul talks about how nature provides proof of a creator. What part of creation reveals God the most to you?

3. Read Romans 2:14-15. What is Paul saying about a man’s instinct to obey? How is this proof of God’s existence?

4. Has there ever been a time when you knew something was right or wrong before you understood Christian ethics?

5. Paul uses nature and man’s instinct to confirm the existence of God. What are some other indicators we are given that help us understand God is real?

6. Read Psalm 19:1-4. What do verses 3 and 4 reveal about God’s character?

Gear-Up (Application) 15 min
1. What is something regarding your faith that you find yourself wrestling with but have never asked anyone about. Has this, or does this question prevent you from fully trusting God?

2. Through nature (Natural Indicators), instinct (Ethical Indicators), or the other indicators talked about in question 6, where do you find God the most in your life? What does this look like?

Step-Up (Homework)
