Announcements for the Week of 2.7.21
February 4, 2021

Current Series, Love Does

In good times and bad times, Jesus taught us that love should be our highest aim. Nothing defines His people like love. Love is like a hurricane that can change the landscape of a heart, a marriage, a home, a community, and a nation. When love does, it moves us beyond a sweet and romantic feeling to a life poured out with kindness, care, sacrifice, and generosity. There is nothing more powerful. It’s a movement that can’t be stopped.

Loves Does T-Shirts: We are giving out free LOVE DOES T-shirts that we encourage you to wear out in public when you are doing an action of love this month! We would especially encourage you to wear them when you participate in LOVE DOES Week at the end of February (more information below). T-shirts will be available on Sundays while supplies last. We will have some available to pick up at the office during the week. If you are not local, and would like to order one online for $5 (shipping & processing fee), click here.

Love Does Books: We will also have the book Love Does by Bob Goff available for $10 as a complimentary reading during the series. Books can be purchased on Sundays, at the office (cash or check only) during office hours, or if you are not local, you can order one here.

Love Does Guest Speakers:
-February 14 Dave and Ashley Willis spent thirteen years in full-time church ministry before devoting their work entirely toward the global mission of building stronger, Christ-centered marriages. Their marriage-related books, blogs, podcast, speaking events, and media resources have reached millions of couples around the world making Dave and Ashley one of the most recognized and trusted couples in marriage ministry.
-February 21 How do we change the world? Go home and love your family! We are excited to have Pastor Steve and Cheryl be a part of a special conversation with all four of their adult children about a home filled with love. Every parent makes mistakes with their children but a home with love as the foundation is so important.

Love Does Stories: If you have a story that births out of this month, we would LOVE to hear about it! It could be a change in you, a way you were able to bless someone else, a repaired relationship…whatever it may be, encourage us with your story here.
