ICEBREAKER: If you have been baptized, share your baptism story. (When, where, who was with you, etc.)


Read Ephesians 4:1-6


Paul lists characteristics that are worthy of our calling in Christ. What stands out to you? Which of these characteristics do you find personally challenging? Which would you want to see more of in the church (not just Creekside)? What makes it difficult to live out these characteristics?


Paul urges the Ephesians (and us) to be united in the Holy Spirit. How does the Spirit unite believers? Why is unification an indicator of the Holy Spirit’s presence in a church community?


Read verses 4-6 again. Why do you think Paul reiterates that there is one Spirit, one baptism, one Lord, etc.? Why do you think he includes baptism in this list? How is baptism a reminder of our unity as believers? What can we do as followers of Jesus, to live up to that unity?


How can we pray for each other this week?
