Christmas Offering

The mission of TrueNorth is to lead people into a passionate relationship with Jesus Christ. For 16 years, the words of Jesus in Luke 15:4 have defined who we are and what we are about: “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them—what do you do? You leave the other ninety-nine sheep in the pasture and go looking for the one that got lost until you find it.” We have pursued this calling passionately and God has blessed us with thousands of changed lives. That mission continues to call us to be “for the one.”
In March 2019, we launched a campaign to raise $1.3 million to begin a $9 million campus expansion. We are currently only $61,000 short of our goal. We are praying and believing that our Christmas offering which is designated toward our “For the One” Campaign will help us reach that goal as we begin 2021. Please prayerfully consider how you can help us continue to “reach the one.” You can give during one of our Christmas Eve services with our provided Christmas Offering envelopes or online at truenorthchurch.com/give, just be sure to designate “For the One.”

December 27: Church at Home

We are bringing back Church at Home for the weekend after Christmas. We will not have our normal service times on Sunday, December 27, nor will we meet on campus. Instead, we are offering a Church at Home Online Service, and we encourage you to gather your family and friends and experience this service together. You can access the Church at Home Online Service on or after December 27 at 9am through our website, Facebook page, and YouTube channel.

Year-End Giving

The TNC office will be closed from December 24 through January 4, 2021. For tax purposes, end of the year tithes/gifts must be received in service by December 24 or postmarked by December 31 to 1297 W. Martintown Road, North Augusta, SC 29841. You may also text the keyword GIVE to 803.279.1555 or give online at truenorthchurch.com by December 31.

January 1: Bible Reading Plan Begins

Do you want to read through the New Testament, but have a hard time knowing where to start or how to keep going? Follow along with TrueNorth’s Bible Reading Plan. Together we will walk through the entire New Testament in 2021. Our plan is designed so that you only read one chapter during the week and a short selection from Psalms or Proverbs on the weekends. Our hope is to foster a daily encounter with God, both individually and as a church family, while enjoying one of the greatest gifts we have, God’s Word.
You can pick up a copy of the TrueNorth Bible Reading Plan on campus on a Sunday morning, download a digital copy from our website here, or follow along through the digital resource on the TrueNorth App beginning January 1.

January 3: New Series - Be the Branch

A new year is filled with the hope of New Year’s resolutions that we believe will bring change in our lives. Unfortunately, research tells us that less than 8% of people stick to those resolutions during the year. But what if the resource of new life and change wasn’t us, but God? In John 15, Jesus said, “I am the vine and you are the branches.” Purpose, power and peace are provided by the vine. We are simply asked to “be the branch.” Join us in January as we discover how we can live the life we were made to live!

January 7: Shepeard Blood Drive

Join us Thursday, January 7, between 10am-7pm as we host a community blood drive. Donors must weigh at least 110 pounds, be 16 years old (with a signed parental consent form), and have a photo ID to donate.
Shepeard could not support our 20 local hospitals without your help, and they are in desperate need of supply. We strongly encourage you to donate if possible. Appointments are recommended, but not required. Email info@shepeardblood.org to reserve your time today!

January 11: Perspectives Begins

Perspectives will take you on a journey, looking in-depth at the biblical, historical, cultural, and strategic aspects of God’s global plan to reconcile every nation, tribe, people, and tongue to Himself. Our Associate Pastor, Gene Jennings, will be one of the instructors.
More information and registration for the 15-week course can be found here.
