Have you ever been in a situation when you felt unworthy of something? Tell us about it.
When you celebrate Communion, do you most often find yourself looking up in gratitude, back in remembrance, forward in anticipation of Jesus’ return, within at your own sin, or around at the rest of the church? Do you ever miss any of these?
Do you think you take Communion seriously enough?
Do you feel like when we meet together as a church that it is for the better or for the worse? Explain your answer.
What is the purpose or goal of Communion?
How do we diminish the gospel through division while taking the Lord’s Supper?
What makes someone and unworthy participant in the Lord’s Supper? What makes us worthy of participating in Communion?
