Part #2
1. I resolve to
(Joel 2:12-14) “Even now,” declares the Lord, “return to me with all your heart, with fasting and weeping and mourning.” Rend your heart and not your garments. Return to the Lord your God, for He is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love, and he relents from sending calamity. Who knows? He may turn and relent and leave behind a blessing—grain offerings and drink offerings for the Lord your God.
(Acts 3:19) Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord
(Psalm 33:1-3 GNT) All you that are righteous, shout for joy for what the Lord has done; praise him, all you that obey him.
Give thanks to the Lord with harps, sing to him with stringed instruments. Sing a new song to him, play the harp with skill, and shout for joy!
(1 Chronicles 21:24 GNT) …I will not give as an offering to the Lord something that belongs to you, something that costs me nothing.
(Revelation 7:11-12 GNT) All the angels stood around the throne, the elders, and the four living creatures. Then they threw themselves face downward in front of the throne and worshiped God, saying, “Amen! Praise, glory, wisdom, thanksgiving, honor, power, and might belong to our God forever and ever! Amen!”
(2 Timothy 3:16 NLT) All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.
(Deuteronomy 14:23 LB) …The purpose of tithing is to teach you always to put God first in your lives.
(John 14:21 CEV) The person who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who [really] loves Me; and whoever [really] loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and reveal Myself to him [I will make Myself real to him].
2. I resolve to develop
(Acts 2:44 LB) All the believers met together constantly and shared everything with each other.
(Luke 4:16) He went to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and on the Sabbath day he went into the synagogue, as was his custom…
(Hebrews 10:25 NCV) You should not stay away from the church meetings, as some are doing, but you should meet together and encourage each other. Do this even more as you see the day coming.
(Ecclesiastes 4:9) Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor.
3. I resolve to fulfill
(Ephesians 2:10 NLT) For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.
(Psalm 90:12 LB) Teach us to number our days and recognize how few they are; help us to spend them as we should.
