Think about God’s Word. Every page we turn leads us to see the unexpected grace, the undeserved love of God in Jesus Christ. God doesn’t do things the way we do. He loves beyond our wildest imagination. He forgives the sinner, completely, for the sake of Christ. Why is it so important for the church’s teaching and preaching always to emphasize Christ’s death and resurrection for the forgiveness of sins?
