Amazing Grace in Unlikely Places

Jonah 1:17-2:10

Introduction

In this chapter we find Jonah in a “whale of a situation”! He is sinking and desparing, yet he experiences God’s amazing grace in a most unlikely place: the belly of a great fish. While there for three Jonah prays and, in his prayer, teaches us two truths: one which he models and another by what he fails to model. This chapter reminds us of the Lord’s faithful presence, especially in those sinking moments of life.
