Welcome

Thank you for joining us!

We have a great service planned, so let’s worship together!

Holy Is The Lord

Artist: Chris Tomlin/Passion

We stand and lift up our hands
For the joy of the Lord is our strength
We bow down and worship Him now
How great, how awesome is He

And together we sing

Holy is the Lord God Almighty
The earth is filled with His glory
Holy is the Lord God Almighty
The earth is filled with His glory
The earth is filled with His glory

We stand and lift up our hands
For the joy of the Lord is our strength
We bow down and worship Him now
How great, how awesome is He

And together we sing
Everyone sing

Holy is the Lord God Almighty
The earth is filled with His glory
Holy is the Lord God Almighty
The earth is filled with His glory
The earth is filled with His glory

It’s rising up all around
It’s the anthem of the Lord’s renown
It’s rising up all around
It’s the anthem of the Lord’s renown

Together we sing
And everyone sing

Holy is the Lord God Almighty
The earth is filled with His glory
Holy is the Lord God Almighty
The earth is filled with His glory
The earth is filled with His glory

The earth is filled with His glory

Holy, holy is the Lord Almighty, holy, holy
Holy, holy is the Lord Almighty, holy, holy
Holy, holy is the Lord Almighty, holy, holy
Holy, holy

Glorious Day

Artist: Passion

I was buried beneath my shame
Who could carry that kind of weight
It was my tomb
Till I met You

I was breathing, but not alive
All my failures I tried to hide
It was my tomb, yeah
Till I met You

You called my name
And I ran out of that grave
Out of the darkness
Into Your glorious day

You called my name
And I ran out of that grave
Out of the darkness
Into Your glorious day

Now Your mercy has saved my soul
Now Your freedom is all that I know
The old made new
Jesus, when I met You

When You called my name
And I ran out of that grave
Out of the darkness
Into Your glorious day

You called my name
And I ran out of that grave
Out of the darkness
Into Your glorious day

I needed rescue
My sin was heavy
But chains break at the weight of Your glory

I needed shelter
I was an orphan
Now You call me a citizen of heaven

When I was broken
You were my healing
Now Your love is the air that I’m breathing
I have a future
My eyes are open

‘Cause when You called my name
I ran out of that grave
Out of the darkness
Into Your glorious day

You called my name
And I ran out of that grave
Out of the darkness
Into Your glorious day

No Longer Slaves

Artist: Bethel Music

You unravel me with a melody
You surround me with a song
Of deliverance from my enemies
‘Til all my fears are gone

I’m no longer a slave to fear
I am a child of God
I’m no longer a slave to fear
I am a child of God

From my mother’s womb
You have chosen me
Love has called my name
I’ve been born again to a family
Your blood flows through my veins

I’m no longer a slave to fear
I am a child of God
I’m no longer a slave to fear
I am a child of God
I’m no longer a slave to fear
I am a child of God
I’m no longer a slave to fear
I am a child of God

I am surrounded
By the arms of the Father
I am surrounded
By songs of deliverance

We’ve been liberated
From our bondage
We’re the sons and the daughters
Let us sing our freedom

You split the sea
So I could walk right through it
My fears are drowned in perfect love
You rescued me
And I will stand and sing
I am a child of God

You split the sea
So I could walk right through it
You drown my fears in perfect love
You rescued me
And I will stand and sing
I am a child of God

Yes, I am
I am a child of God
I am a child of God
Yes, I am
I am a child of God
Full of faith
Yes, I am a child of God
I am a child of God

I’m no longer a slave to fear
I am a child of God
I’m no longer a slave to fear
I am a child of God

Your Love Never Fails

Artist: Jesus Culture

Nothing can separate
Even if I ran away
Your love never fails

I know I still make mistakes
But You have new mercy for me everyday
Your love never fails

You stay the same through the ages
Your love never changes
There may be pain in the night but joy comes in the morning

And when the oceans rage
I don’t have to be afraid
Because I know that You love me

Your love never fails

The wind is strong and the water’s deep
But I’m not alone here in these open seas
Cause Your love never fails

The chasm is far too wide
I never thought I’d reach the other side
But Your love never fails

You stay the same through the ages
Your love never changes
There may be pain in the night
But joy comes in the morning
And when the oceans rage
I don’t have to be afraid
Because I know that You love me
Your love never fails

You make, all things
Work together for my good
You make, all things
Work together for my good
You make, all things
Work together for my good
You make, all things
Work together for my good
You make, all things
Work together for my good
You make, all things
Work together for my good

You stay the same through the ages
Your love never changes
There may be pain in the night
But joy comes in the morning
And when the oceans rage
I don’t have to be afraid
Because I know that You love me
Your love never fails

You make, all things
Work together for my good
You make, all things
Work together for my good
You make, all things
Work together for my good
You make, all things
Work together for my good
You make, all things
Work together for my good
All things
Work together for my good
You make, all things
Work together for my good
You make, all things
Work together for my good
You make, all things
Work together for my good
You make, all things
Work together for my good
You make, all things
Work together for my good

You stay the same through the ages
Your love never changes
There may be pain in the night
But joy comes in the morning
And when the oceans rage
I don’t have to be afraid
Because I know that You love me

Scripture Focus & Notes

Psalm 30:1-12 (HCSB)

I will exalt You, Lord,
because You have lifted me up
and have not allowed my enemies
to triumph over me.
Lord my God,
I cried to You for help, and You healed me.
Lord, You brought me up from Sheol;
You spared me from among those
going down to the Pit.

Sing to Yahweh, you His faithful ones,
and praise His holy name.
For His anger lasts only a moment,
but His favor, a lifetime.
Weeping may spend the night,
but there is joy in the morning.

When I was secure, I said,
“I will never be shaken.”
Lord, when You showed Your favor,
You made me stand like a strong mountain;
when You hid Your face, I was terrified.
Lord, I called to You;
I sought favor from my Lord:
“What gain is there in my death,
if I go down to the Pit?
Will the dust praise You?
Will it proclaim Your truth?
Lord, listen and be gracious to me;
Lord, be my helper.”

You turned my lament into dancing;
You removed my sackcloth
and clothed me with gladness,
so that I can sing to You and not be silent.
Lord my God, I will praise You forever.

Selah - Pausing to Praise: The Richness of Redemption

Redemption Raises Us (1-3)
• As he lifts us, we exalt Him. His grace takes us where we can’t go on our own.
• The enemy may relentlessly attack us, but Jesus always, ultimately, wins.
• Redemption means we don’t stay in the pit!

Redemption Restores (4-7)
• God’s healing in our character reveals His character. He brings about in us who He is.
• Personal worship naturally leads to public praise. If it doesn’t, it can quickly become pride.
• Seasons are never permanent, and we perpetually hope that joy is in the next one.
• Often, when we believe we are at our strongest, that belief can become a vulnerability.
• Redemption offers the hope of restoration.

Redemption Releases (8-12)
• God knew of our need for help and so sent us the Holy Spirit.
• We begin an eternity of worship now.
• Redemption releases us to the purposes of God.

My Rock My Redeemer

Artist: Michael Himes

Perfect law revive my soul from this night
Faithful Word, make wise the simple heart of mine

Fear of God endure in me forever

For these are more desirable than gold
Sweeter also than honey from the comb

Heaven declares the glory of my God
The sky above proclaims his wonders
Who can silence them?

The sun comes forth like a victor on his course
Rejoicing in Your honor
My Rock My Redeemer
My Rock My Redeemer

Your commands are radiant giving light
Your ordinances are altogether right

May my words be pleasing in Your sight
For You are more desirable than gold
Sweeter also than honey from the comb

Heaven declares the glory of my God
The sky above proclaims his wonders
Who can silence them?

The sun comes forth like a victor on his course
Rejoicing in Your honor
My Rock My Redeemer
My Rock My Redeemer
