Colossians (Part 15): Forgiveness & Forbearance

Put On:
1. Humility (Philippians 2:3-4)
2. Gentleness (Galatians 6:1)
3. Patience

What We Do:
1. Bear with one another
2. Forgive one another (Luke 7:41-43)

Forgiveness is the personal act of releasing someone from the debt of their wrongdoing, choosing not to hold resentment or seek revenge. It involves an internal decision to let go of anger, bitterness, and the desire for retribution.

Reconciliation is the restoration of a relationship to what it was before, including mutual trust

We can always forgive, but reconciliation isn’t always possible.
