Sunday’s Message – We often give up too easily when it comes to prayer. There could be a lot of reasons why. Maybe we just lack faith that God will act. We can easily get discouraged if we do not experience instant results. Maybe we wonder if the Lord hears us. Sometimes doubt creeps in our hearts as we wait for God to move. Maybe we are asking for the wrong things. Jesus teaches us something really important in Luke 18 through a parable. He wants to instill in us a perseverance in prayer knowing that God will act at the right time. The Lord at times does answer our prayers immediately and other times He wants us to have patience. Through it all, God does not want us to give up but to pray in faith with confidence that He hears and cares for us.

Weekly Fighter Verse – Luke 18:7 - “And will not God give justice to his elect, who cry to him day and night? Will he delay long over them?”
