INTRO: What makes a lecture in school engaging?
READ: John 19:28– 30 (NLT)
DISCUSS:
Carnegie Mellon University’s Professor Randy Pausch gave his “Last Lecture” a month after doctors told him that his battle with pancreatic cancer would end his life in three-to-six months. His lecture was full of hope: live life to its fullest despite the obstacles. Be determined and make the most out of every moment.
- If you were faced with giving a “Last Lecture” what would you share?
- Could you find humor? Who would you want to be in your audience?
Christ’s last words on the cross communicated his mission was complete. “It is finished!” – Tetelestai. Exploring the “IT”

- The Work – John 4:34; John 5:36; John 17:4

PRAY:
Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, to the only wise God our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen. [Jude 1:24-25 KJV]
