“Oikos” means household.

God’s household is the
“Here there is no Gentile or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all, and is in all.” —Colossians 3:11
“Be my witnesses in Jerusalem Judea and Samaria and the uttermost parts of the world.” —Acts 1:8
The church is the pillar and foundation of the truth.
The church makes the truth look
John 1:14- Jesus was full of grace and truth.
“This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. The main reason people walk away from Jesus?
When the church is not what Jesus called it to be.
The main reason people come to Jesus? When the church looks like Jesus.
“Beyond all question, the mystery from which true godliness springs is great. He appeared in the flesh, was vindicated by the Spirit. He was seen by angels, was preached among the nations. He was believed on in the world, was taken up in glory.” —1 Timothy 3:16
