The Second Thing
(1 Corinthians 11:1 MEV) Follow me as I follow Christ.
(Matthew 28:18-20 NLT) Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. 19 Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. 20 Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
(John 13:34-35 NLT) So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. 35 Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.”
(Acts 2:41 NIV) Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day.
(Acts 2:42-47 NIV) They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.
Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
(Ecclesiastes 4:8 NIV) There was a man all alone; he had neither son nor brother. There was no end to his toil, yet his eyes were not content with his wealth.
(Proverbs 27:19 GN) A mirror reflects a man’s face but what he is really like is shown by the kind of friends he chooses.

(Revelation 2:4-5 NLT) But I have this complaint against you. You don’t love me or each other as you did at first! 5 Look how far you have fallen! Turn back to me and do the works you did at first. If you don’t repent, I will come and remove your lampstand from its place among the churches.
(Romans 12:17-18 NIV) Do not repay anyone evil for evil…If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.
(Colossians 3:13 NIV) Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
(1 Corinthians 15:33 NIV) Do not be misled: “Bad company corrupts good character.”
(2 Corinthians 6:14-18 NLT) Don’t team up with those who are unbelievers. How can righteousness be a partner with wickedness? How can light live with darkness? 15 What harmony can there be between Christ and the devil? How can a believer be a partner with an unbeliever? 16 And what union can there be between God’s temple and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God said:
“I will live in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they will be my people. 17 Therefore, come out from among unbelievers, and separate yourselves from them, says the LORD. Don’t touch their filthy things, and I will welcome you. 18 And I will be your Father, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the LORD Almighty.”

(2 Timothy 2:2 NLT) You have heard me teach things that have been confirmed by many reliable witnesses. Now teach these truths to other trustworthy people who will be able to pass them on to others.
(John 13:12-15 NIV) When he had finished washing their feet, he put on his clothes and returned to his place. “Do you understand what I have done for you?” he asked them. “You call me Teacher' and
Lord,’ and rightly so, for that is what I am. Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet. I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you.”
(Galatians 6:2 NIV) Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.
(John 14:1 NIV) “Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me.”
(Hebrews 3:13 NIV) But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called Today, so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.
(John 15:4-5 NIV) “Remain in me, and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.”
(Ecclesiastes 4:9 NIV) “Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work.”
(Ecclesiastes 4:12 NLT) A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.
Have you been in a compromising situation this week?
Have any of your financial dealings lacked integrity?
Have you viewed any sexually explicit material?
Have you spent quality time in Bible study and prayer?
Have you given priority time to your family?
Have you fulfilled the mandates of your calling?
Have you just lied to me?
(John 17:1, 9 NIV) After Jesus said this, he looked toward heaven and prayed… “I pray for them. I am not praying for the world, but for those you have given me…”
(James 5:16 NIV) Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective
