WHAT IS PEACE & WHY DO WE NEED IT?

WHY IS JESUS THE PRINCE OF PEACE?
Of the increase of his government and of PEACE there will be no end, on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this time forth and forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will do this. —ISAIAH 9:7
But he was pierced for our transgression, he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us PEACE, and with his wounds we are healed. —ISAIAH 53:5
HOW CAN WE ENJOY THE KINGDOM OF PEACE?
For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness and PEACE and joy in the Holy Spirit. —ROMANS 14:17
You keep him in PERFECT PEACE whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. —ISAIAH 26:3
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, PEACE, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. —GALATIANS 5:22-23
