11 Now all these things happened to them as examples, and they were written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the ages have come. —1 Corinthians 10:11 NKJV

1. God blesses nations and people who walk in His ways.

12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; And the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance. —Psalm 33:12 KJV

1 Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD;That walketh in his ways. 2 For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands:Happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee. —Psalm 128:1-2 KJV

34 Righteousness exalteth a nation:But sin is a reproach to any people. —Proverbs 14:34 KJV

1 Plead my cause, O LORD, with them that strive with me:Fight against them that fight against me. 2 Take hold of shield and buckler,And stand up for mine help. —Psalm 35:1-2 KJV

2. Rejecting God’s ways brings suffering.

29 Because they hated knowledgeAnd did not choose the fear of the Lord [that is, obeying Him with reverence and awe-filled respect], [Prov 8:13] 30 They would not accept my counsel,And they spurned all my rebuke. 31 “Therefore they shall eat of the fruit of their own [wicked] wayAnd be satiated with [the penalty of] their own devices. —Proverbs 1:29-31 AMP

3. Our nation depends on us.

A.Pray.

14 if my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. —2 Chronicles 7:14 KJV

B. Be a Christian light.

11 By the blessing of the influence of the upright and God’s favor [because of them] the city is exalted, but it is overthrown by the mouth of the wicked. —Proverbs 11:11 AMPC

C. Vote for Godly leaders - Biblical values.

2 When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice:But when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn. —Proverbs 29:2 KJV
