In Times of Transition …

• Be wary of drifting into nostalgia.

Ecclesiastes 7:10 (NIV)
Do not say, “Why were the old days better than these?” For it is not wise to ask such questions.

• Be wary of drifting into amnesia.

Isaiah 46:8-10(NIV)

Keep reminding God’s people of these things. Warn them before God against quarreling about words; it is of no value, and only ruins those who listen. Avoid godless chatter … . Don’t have anything to do with foolish and stupid arguments, because you know they produce quarrels.
