INTRO
For the past few weeks we have been following the leadership of Elijah. We learned how to have courage when facing severe circumstances, having a spiritual influence, and how to humbly confront others.

Elijah is a perfect example of a leader with influence. His influence was not based on his personality or popularity. Elijah’s influence came from his lifestyle of trusting God in all situations. He neither wavered nor hobbled between two opinions.

Just like Elijah and the many prophets and leaders in the bible, they were chosen. Wherever God had called them to be, they were chosen to lead.

For church it is also the same, we can be called, but are we chosen?

This morning we are going to address the church. It’s original meaning, the impact it has on the world and your chosenness in this church.
