Genesis 2:8–10 NLT
8 Then the Lord God planted a garden in Eden in the east, and there he placed the man he had made. 9 The Lord God made all sorts of trees grow up from the ground—trees that were beautiful and that produced delicious fruit. Planted, Placed, Produced, Perpetuated in the will of God!
How do I know that God is leading me in a decision?
Are there stirrings in you? Natural and Spiritual?
Do you have peace about it? Is there confirmation
internally within your self?
Is there confirmation in your spouse? What is he/she
saying?
Is there confirmation from God’s word?
Is there confirmation from spiritual authority?
Is there any supernatural evidence?
Has there been any unsolicited, spoken prophetic word?
GFA: A Church In Deisensus!
“it seemed good to the Holy Spirit and us…”
Deisensus is sensing God, His will, and His desire in the decision making process.
Acts 15 is Deisensus in its purest form.
Deisensus - three biblical decision-making principles:
Deliberation in Unity
Scripture Informs Experience
Holy Spirit Guidance
2 Chronicles 33:1–2 NLT
Manasseh was twelve years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem fifty-five years. 2 He did what was evil in the Lord’s sight, following the detestable practices of the pagan nations that the Lord had driven from the land ahead of the Israelites.
2 Chronicles 33:9–10 NLT
9 But Manasseh led the people of Judah and Jerusalem to do even more evil than the pagan nations that the Lord had destroyed when the people of Israel entered the land. 10 The Lord spoke to Manasseh and his people, but they ignored all his warnings.
2 Chronicles 33:12–13 NLT
12 But while in deep distress, Manasseh sought the Lord his God and sincerely humbled himself before the God of his ancestors. 13 And when he prayed, the Lord listened to him and was moved by his request. So the Lord brought Manasseh back to Jerusalem and to his kingdom. Then Manasseh finally realized that the Lord alone is God!
2 Chronicles 34:2 NLT
He did what was pleasing in the Lord’s sight and followed the example of his ancestor David. He did not turn away from doing what was right.
2 Chronicles 34:33 NLT
So Josiah removed all detestable idols from the entire land of Israel and required everyone to worship the Lord their God. And throughout the rest of his lifetime, they did not turn away from the Lord, the God of their ancestors.
Acts 15:31 NLT
And there was great joy throughout the church that day as they read this encouraging message.
