[7] For as he thinks in his heart, so is he. “Eat and drink!” he says to you, But his heart is not with you.
Winning the battle for our thoughts and mind is also the primary catalyst for growing in Christ:
Romans 12:2 NIV
[2] Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.Romans 12:2 NLT
[2] Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.
We are saved by grace, but we are transformed by the renewing of our mind, by allowing God to “change the way we think.”

If you are going to live in greater levels of peace, freedom and victory, especially in the days we live in, you’re going to have to:
1) Think about what you are thinking about.

2) Learn to discern.
3) Hire a higher thought.
