Romans 12:1-2 (NLT)

1 And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him.
2 Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

We die; indeed we have to die to be resurrected, restored and renewed. 1 Since you have been raised to new life with Christ, set your sights on the realities of heaven, where Christ sits in the place of honor at God’s right hand.
2 Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth.
3 For you died to this life, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God.

Colossians 3:10 (NLT)

Put on your new nature, and be renewed as you learn to know your Creator and become like him.

Your REAL life is hidden in Christ. Put to death earthly things. Put on your new nature and be (ever in the process of being) renewed as you learn to know your Creator and become like him.
