Romans 8:26-39

1. God Provides in the Through . (Vs. 26-27, 2 Cor 1:21-22)

2 Corinthians 1:21-22, “Now it is God who strengthens us together with you in Christ, and who has anointed us. He has also put his seal on us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a down payment.”

Romans 14:8, “If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.”

2. God Provides For Salvation:

Genesis 50:19-20, “But Joseph said to them, “Don’t be afraid. Am I in the place of God? You planned evil against me; God planned it for good to bring about the present result—the survival of many people.”

3. God’s Provision Changes Everything:

a. We Are Eternally Secure in Him. (Vs. 31-34, Rev 12:10, Heb 7:22-25, John 16:32-33)

Revelation 12:10, “Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say, The salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have now come, because the accuser of our brothers and sisters, who accuses them before our God day and night, has been thrown down.”

Hebrews 7:22-25, “Because of this oath, Jesus has also become the guarantee of a better covenant. Now many have become Levitical priests, since they are prevented by death from remaining in office. But because he remains forever, he holds his priesthood permanently. Therefore, he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, since he always lives to intercede for them.”

John 16:32-33, “Indeed, an hour is coming, and has come, when each of you will be scattered to his own home, and you will leave me alone. Yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me. I have told you these things so that in me you may have peace. You will have suffering in this world. Be courageous! I have conquered the world.””

b. We Are Eternally

Ephesians 1:20-21, “He exercised this power in Christ by raising him from the dead and seating him at his right hand in the heavens—far above every ruler and authority, power and dominion, and every title given,, not only in this age but also in the one to come.”
