Series: Romans – Grasping the Gospel
Sermon Title: Part 34 – What It Means to Have Jesus Intercede for You
Scripture: Romans 8:33-34
Speaker: Pastor Mark Pospisil
Sunday’s Message – Jesus is at the right hand of God interceding for us right now. What does that mean? There are so many life changing implications and realities to His intercession for us. He is the one who reconciles us to God. He is the one who removes our guilt. He is the one who protects us from satan’s influence. He is praying for you right now. Listen to Robert Murray M’Cheyne, “If I could hear Christ praying for me in the next room, I would not fear a million enemies. Yet distance makes no difference. He is praying for me.” We are going to unpack exactly what it means to have Jesus interceding for us and how that encourages and strengthens our faith.
Weekly Fighter Verse – Romans 8:34 – “Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raised—who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us.”
