Ephesians 5:3-14

The Included are called to

“You are the light of the world… let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.” – Matt. 5:14-16

Leaving the light on in our lives involves two main practices:

1. Refuse to

in darkness (Verses 3-7).

2. Live under the influence of the Lord,

only what aligns with him (verse 10).

Vs. 10 - “find out what pleases the Lord” = Determine the truth or validity of a thing and then act accordingly.

A coaching: Shine your light wisely–in love and kindness, with mercy and grace.

A caution: We can be so overly concerned about shining perfectly that we don’t shine at all.
