
(Proverbs 4:3-9 ESV) When I was a son with my father, tender, the only one in the sight of my mother,he taught me and said to me, “Let your heart hold fast my words; keep my commandments, and live. 5 Get wisdom; get insight; do not forget, and do not turn away from the words of my mouth. 6 Do not forsake her, and she will keep you; love her, and she will guard you. 7 The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom, and whatever you get, get insight. 8 Prize her highly, and she will exalt you; she will honor you if you embrace her. 9 She will place on your head a graceful garland; she will bestow on you a beautiful crown.”
Why is it so hard to find true success in life? The largest section of any book store is the self-help section; including Christian book stores. Knowing doesn’t always translate to doing. Information doesn’t always become application. We need to follow the paths of wisdom to find true success.
1.The Path of
(Proverbs 4:4 ESV) “…Let your heart hold fast my words; keep my commandments, and live.”
God pursues us even before we pursue Him.
(Romans 5:8 ESV) “but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

Have to vs Want to:
A “Have To” Christianity - Relates to God in the same way someone would relate to a coach.
A “Want To” Christianity - Relates to God in the same way someone would relate to a lover.

Knowledge increases your understanding, but wisdom develops
