  1. What are some of the best commercials you’ve seen?

  2. To remind ourselves of the book of Hebrews, skim through the first 4 chapters. Note the headings, key verses, anything that jumps out to you. Work to trace the author’s line of thinking.

  3. How does the concept of Abiding connect to God’s Rest? Read John 15:1-11.

  4. In what life circumstances do you think you’re personally vulnerable to your heart being prone to closing itself off from God?

  5. Read Hebrews 4:11-16. What makes these verses so significant?

  6. Talk about a time in your life where you felt great conviction from God’s Word. What did you do about it? How do you open yourself to the surgical work of God’s Word?

  7. What does it mean to you that Jesus is sympathetic? Is it hard for you to think of Him that way? Why?
