4 And coming to Him as to a living stone which has been rejected by men, but is choice and
precious in the sight of God, 5 you also, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house for a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. 6 For this is contained in Scripture: “Behold, I lay in Zion a choice stone, a precious corner stone, and he who believes in Him will not be disappointed —1 Peter 2:4-6 (NASB)

19 So then you are no longer strangers and aliens (to dwell close but to be foreign or a non-
citizen with limited rights), but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and are of God’s household,
20 having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus Himself being
the corner stone, 21 in whom the whole building, being fitted together, is growing into a holy
temple in the Lord, 22 in whom you also are being built together into a dwelling of God in the
Spirit. —Ephesians 2:19-22 (NASB)

16Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? —1 Corinthians 1:16 (NASB)

11 Not that I speak from want, for I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am. 12 I
know how to get along with humble means, and I also know how to live in prosperity; in any and
every circumstance I have learned the secret of being filled and going hungry, both of having
abundance and suffering need. 13 I can do all things through Him who strengthens me. —Philippians 4:11-13 (NASB)

And we adapt we will OVERCOME!

Accept that you are not in control but more importantly: ACCEPT that GOD IS IN CONTROL!

1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. 2 Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change and though the mountains slip into the heart of the sea; 3 Though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains quake at its swelling pride. Selah. 4 There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy dwelling places of the Most High. 5 God is in the midst of her, she will not be moved; God will help her when morning dawns. 6 The nations made an uproar, the kingdoms tottered; He raised His voice, the earth melted. 7 The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our stronghold. Selah. 8 Come, behold the works of the Lord, who has wrought desolations in the earth. 9 He makes wars to cease to the end of the earth; He breaks the bow and cuts the spear in two; He burns the chariots with fire. 10 “(Be still) Cease striving and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” 11 The Lord of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our stronghold. Selah. —Psalm 46:1-11 (NASB)

6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. —Philippians 4:6-7 (NASB)

DECIDE that you are going to redeem the moment!

15 Therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise, 16 making the most of your time, because the days are evil. —Ephesians 5:15-16 (NASB)

“Wherever you are, be all there! Live to the hilt every situation you believe to be the will of God.” - Jim Elliot

Ways to redeem the time:

1 Spend time with God!

2 Reach out to those in your redemptive community.

3 Find those in need and pray for them and give help out if you can.

4 Rest!

5 Do the things you were “going to get to eventually”.

AGREE with what God’s Word says…PERIOD.

89 Forever, O Lord, Your word is settled in heaven. 90 Your faithfulness continues throughout all generations; You established the earth, and it stands. —Psalm 119:89-90 (NASB)

God’s Word is IMMUTABLE, or unchanging, and His promises are true.

10 ‘Do not fear, for I am with you; do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’ —Isaiah 41:10 (NASB)

PRAISE to lift burdens! Praise will lift the crushing burdens of fear and anxiety that are fueled by the non-stop, 24-hour hyper sensational news cycle that pedals mass hysteria.

1 “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, because the Lord has anointed Me to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound; 2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn, 3 To console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.” —Isaiah 61:3 (NKJV)

When we choose praise over panic, adoration over anxiety, faith over fear we are declaring to the enemy that we know the truth: He is defeated and we are more than conquerors (Romans 8 - overwhelmingly victorious) through Him, Jesus, who loves us.

TRUST God completely, even when you don’t understand what happening all around you. He is GOOD.

5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. —Proverbs 3:5-6 (NASB)

3 You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. —Isaiah 26:3 (NKJV)

As we ACCEPT that God is in control, DECIDE to redeem the moment, AGREE with what God’s Word says, Praise to lift burdens, and TRUST God with all of our heart we will OVERCOME victoriously!

4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. —1 John 5:4 (NASB)

Today we join Christians all over the world in praying the prayer of the REDEEMED that brings redemption to the world…

13 If I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or if I command the locust to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among My people, 14 and My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 15 Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to the prayer offered in this place. —2 Chronicles 7:13-15 (NASB)
