
HOW TO HAVE THE BEST FAMILY WEEKEND!

1. GOD
“I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” John 10:10 NKJ
“For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.” Hebrews 8:12, NIV
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16, NIV
2. GOD WILL MAKE YOU A BETTER
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11, NIV
“However, as it is written: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived”— the things God has prepared for those who love him— these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit.” 1 Corinthians 2:9–10, NIV
3. WHEN IT COMES TO BEING YOUR VERY BEST AND RAISING THE NEXT GENERATION THE BEST WAY POSSIBLE, DON’T
“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” Romans 12:2, NIV
“Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6, ESV
4. FOLLOWING CHRIST CHANGES
“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” Isaiah 43:19, NIV
5. EVERY CHRIST FOLLOWER NEEDS TO HAVE A
“Where there is no vision, the people perish: But he that keepeth the law, happy is he.” Proverbs 29:18, KJV
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:8–9, NIV
Action Steps: Where would you like to see God change your life or your family? Make a commitment to pray for this every day this week. How would you like to see God make you a better person? Where do you need to not conform to the patterns of this world? What growth goals would you like to set for yourself and your family?
