“Building for the Future”

(Ephesians 2:19-22) So now you Gentiles are no longer strangers and foreigners. You are citizens along with all of God’s holy people. You are members of God’s family. 20 Together, we are his house, built on the foundation of the apostles and the prophets. And the cornerstone is Christ Jesus himself. 21 We are carefully joined together in him, becoming a holy temple for the Lord. 22 Through him you Gentiles are also being made part of this dwelling where God lives by his Spirit.

Matthew 7:24-27 “The wise man built his house on the rock.”

2. God’s Vision for Our Future

Habakkuk 2:2 Then the Lord said to me, “Write my answer plainly on tablets, so that a runner can carry the correct message to others.

3. Everyone Has a Role to Play

(1 Corinthians 12:12-27) The human body has many parts, but the many parts make up one whole body. So it is with the body of Christ.

4. God’s Promise When We Serve

(Colossians 3:23-24) Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people. 24 Remember that the Lord will give you an inheritance as your reward, and that the Master you are serving is Christ.

(Philippians 1:6) And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.
