Identify moments when you have recognized Jesus as the ultimate authority in your life. How has giving authority back over to God through Christ influenced your decisions and actions?
Our Gospel today reminds us of the value of Jesus’ roles as our Healer and the ultimate sacrifice God accepted in forgiving our sins. Do you recall any life events that you could share with others so that they too might be swayed to come to know Jesus’ authority and power?
Ask: “What steps can I take to deepen my relationship with Jesus and grow in my understanding of His authority and lordship in my life?”
