We Must Make Ourselves Available to Him
Exodus 3:2-4- 2 And the angel of the LORD appeared to him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush. He looked, and behold, the bush was burning, yet it was not consumed. 3 And Moses said, “I will turn aside to see this great sight, why the bush is not burned.” 4 When the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called to him out of the bush, “Moses, Moses!” And he said, “Here I am.”
We Must Be a Clean Vessel Ready for Use
Exodus 3:5- 5 Then he said, “Do not come near; take your sandals off your feet, for the place on which you are standing is holy ground.”
1 John 1:9- 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
We Have the Power and Authority Needed to Serve
Exodus 3:11-12 - 11 But Moses said to God, “Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the children of Israel out of Egypt?” 12 He said, “But I will be with you, and this shall be the sign for you, that I have sent you:
YOUR GREATEST ABILITY IS YOUR AVAILABILITY
Exodus 6:6-8- 6 Say therefore to the people of Israel, ‘I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will deliver you from slavery to them, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great acts of judgment. 7 I will take you to be my people, and I will be your God, and you shall know that I am the LORD your God, who has brought you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians. 8 I will bring you into the land that I swore to give to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob. I will give it to you for a possession. I am the LORD.’”
