Tell it to your .

Gen 1:26 God spoke: “Let us make human beings in our image, make them reflecting our nature So they can be responsible for the fish in the sea, the birds in the air, the cattle, And, yes, Earth itself, and every animal that moves on the face of Earth.”
Gen 1:27 God created human beings; he created them godlike, Reflecting God’s nature. He created them male and female.
Gen 1:28 God blessed them: “Prosper! Reproduce! Fill Earth! Take charge! Be responsible for fish in the sea and birds in the air, for every living thing that moves on the face of Earth.” —MSG

We were designed to the countenance (face) and nature of God!

1. to .

  • Time with Jesus should show on our faces.
  • Our selfish (self-first) decisions cause us to hide from His face.
  • Sin removes our reflection.

Gen 3:8 And they heard the sound of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God among the trees of the garden. —.

Time in the presence shows on our faces. (Moses)

Exo 34:29 When Moses came down Mount Sinai carrying the two stone tablets inscribed with the terms of the covenant, he wasn’t aware that his face had become radiant because he had spoken to the LORD.
Exo 34:30 So when Aaron and the people of Israel saw the radiance of Moses’ face, they were afraid to come near him. —NLT

The Shining Face of Moses
Exo 34:29 When Moses came down Mount Sinai carrying the two stone tablets inscribed with the terms of the covenant, he wasn’t aware that his face had become radiant because he had spoken to the LORD.
Exo 34:30 So when Aaron and the people of Israel saw the radiance of Moses’ face, they were afraid to come near him.
Exo 34:31 But Moses called out to them and asked Aaron and all the leaders of the community to come over, and he talked with them.
Exo 34:32 Then all the people of Israel approached him, and Moses gave them all the instructions the LORD had given him on Mount Sinai.
Exo 34:33 When Moses finished speaking with them, he covered his face with a veil.
Exo 34:34 But whenever he went into the Tent of Meeting to speak with the LORD, he would remove the veil until he came out again. Then he would give the people whatever instructions the LORD had given him,
Exo 34:35 and the people of Israel would see the radiant glow of his face. So he would put the veil over his face until he returned to speak with the LORD.

Stephen Is Seized
Act 6:8 Stephen, a man full of God’s grace and power, performed amazing miracles and signs among the people.
Act 6:9 But one day some men from the Synagogue of Freed Slaves, as it was called, started to debate with him. They were Jews from Cyrene, Alexandria, Cilicia, and the province of Asia.
Act 6:10 None of them could stand against the wisdom and the Spirit with which Stephen spoke.
Act 6:11 So they persuaded some men to lie about Stephen, saying, “We heard him blaspheme Moses, and even God.”
Act 6:12 This roused the people, the elders, and the teachers of religious law. So they arrested Stephen and brought him before the high council.
Act 6:13 The lying witnesses said, “This man is always speaking against the holy Temple and against the law of Moses.
Act 6:14 We have heard him say that this Jesus of Nazareth will destroy the Temple and change the customs Moses handed down to us.”
Act 6:15 At this point everyone in the high council stared at Stephen, because his face became as bright as an angel’s. —.

Act 7:55 But Stephen, full of the Holy Spirit, gazed steadily into heaven and saw the glory of God, and he saw Jesus standing in the place of honor at God’s right hand.
Act 7:56 And he told them, “Look, I see the heavens opened and the Son of Man standing in the place of honor at God’s right hand!” —.

2. Your Is A Part Of Your .

Luk 6:45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks. —.

Psa 126:1 A song of the stairway. It was like a dream come true when you freed us from our bondage and brought us back to Zion!
Psa 126:2 We laughed and laughed and overflowed with gladness. We were left shouting for joy and singing your praise. All the nations saw it and joined in, saying, “The Lord has done great miracles for them!”
Psa 126:3 Yes, he did mighty miracles and we are overjoyed!
Psa 126:4 Now, Lord, do it again! Restore us to our former glory! May streams of your refreshing flow over us until our dry hearts are drenched again.
Psa 126:5 Those who sow their tears as seeds will reap a harvest with joyful shouts of glee.
Psa 126:6 They may weep as they go out carrying their seed to sow, but they will return with joyful laughter and shouting with gladness as they bring back armloads of blessing and a harvest overflowing! —TPT

Pro 15:15 A miserable heart means a miserable life; a cheerful heart fills the day with song. —.
