Last week Sunday we started our 21 Days of Prayer as a church. Our goal each week is to encourage you and your family to strengthen your prayer muscle through:
- Read and studying the scripture on prayer
- Planning a time to spend in prayer
- And learning to listen to the voice of God
The key verse for our 21 Days of Prayer is found in:
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 NLT
Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.
This month series is called PRAY LIKE JESUS based on the Lord’s Prayer from Matthew 6:9-13. Let’s begin today by reading this Model Prayer aloud together:
Matthew 6:9-13 NKJV
9 In this manner, therefore, pray:
Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
10 Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.
13 And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
