1. How are you experiencing God’s goodness right now?
2. Read through Genesis 1 and notice how many times you see the phrase “and it was good” (Tov in the Hebrew). Why do you think he kept using that description? What other words might you add?
3. How do you see “extremely

” in our society? How can we change these extremes for “good”?
4. Have you ever tried to “do good” in someone’s life only to find out later it was not perceived or received that way?
5. “Common Good Christianity” what would be your contribution to this cause? How can we contribute as a group?
6. Formless, empty, and darkness. This was the description in Genesis 1:1-2 before God made it “good” for you and me. Structure, fulfillment, and bringing light are the remedies, how can we make this happen in our world?

PRAYER: Lord show us the good in the world and how we can contribute to your desire for goodness.
