OUR MISSION…to see lives changed through a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.

37 “I was born and came into the world to testify to the truth. All who love the truth recognize that what I say is true.”

38 “What is truth?” Pilate asked.” John 18:37–38 (NLT)

“There is a path before each person that seems right, but it ends in death.” Proverbs 14:12 (NLT)

TWO TRUTHS ABOUT TRUTH

1. Just because you something, doesn’t make it .

“The human heart is the most deceitful of all things, and desperately wicked. Who really knows how bad it is? Jeremiah 17:9 (NLT)

2 “Preach the word of God…Patiently correct, rebuke, and encourage your people with good teaching. 3 For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear. 4 They will reject the truth and chase after myths. 2 Tim 4:2-4 (NLT)

2. Truth isn’t just something we believe; truth is we follow.

“Jesus answered, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.” John 14:6 (NLT)

“And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John 8:32 NLT

Talk It Over:

What does it mean to you when Jesus says He is “the way, the truth, and the life”?
How does this shape your understanding of truth?
How do you handle situations where truth is inconvenient or countercultural?
Have you ever experienced a moment when your perspective on truth was challenged or changed?
What caused that shift?

Action Steps:

Read John 14:6 and Psalm 25:5 and reflect on how they apply to your life.
Identify one area in your life where you must apply truth more honestly and commit to making changes this week.
Pray for wisdom and courage to live out God’s truth, especially when difficult or unpopular.
