  1. Why did God decide to send the flood?

Did you realize that Adam was still alive for a large portion of Noah’s father’s life? Lamech could have heard stories about the garden of Eden from Adam himself and shared that information with Noah to pass on to his sons.

• In 6:18, the word covenant first appears. Write down what verses 18-20 reveal about God’s promise in His covenant with Noah.
