The Fruit Farm
Part 1: Love
September 10, 2021

WELCOME
We are so glad you’re here!
Central is a family church growing in our relationships with others AND with God. None of us are perfect, but we believe God uses relationships to shape our lives and bring us closer to Him. We were made for community so, when you’re ready, get connected! From Kid Depot to Senior adults, there is a place for YOU in the Central Family!

22 But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, and self-control.
Galatians 5:22-23

The Holy Spirit gives

.

I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know Him better.
Ephesians 1:17 (NIV)

The Holy Spirit gives

.

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about Me everywhere.
Acts 1:8

Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you?
1 Corinthians 3:16 (ESV)

Once the Holy Spirit lives in us

.

But when the Father sends the Advocate as My representative-that is the Holy Spirit—he will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I have told you.
Jesus in John 14:26

But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love.
1 John 4:8

4 Remain in Me, and I will remain in you. For a branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine, and you cannot be fruitful unless you remain in Me. 5 “Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in Me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from Me you can do nothing.
Jesus in John 15:4-5

4 Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud 5 or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. 6 It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. 7 Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.
1 Corinthians 13:4-7

There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.
John 15:13

The

of the kind of love the Holy Spirit produces in us is .

Let’s not merely say that we love each other; let us show the truth by our actions.
1 John 3:18

3 Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. 4 Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too. 5 You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had. 6 Though He was God, He did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. 7 Instead, He gave up His divine privileges; He took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. When He appeared in human form, 8 He humbled Himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross. 9 Therefore, God elevated Him to the place of highest honor and gave Him the name above all other names, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in Heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Philippians 2:3-11

34 So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. 35 Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are My disciples.”
John 13:34-35

Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love- and the greatest of these is love.
1 Corinthians 13:13
