A Place Where Lost People Matter

Luke 15

The purpose of the church is to bring lost people to Jesus Christ. One of the statements on the Mission & Vision page of our church website is: “We will preach the good news of Jesus to a lost world, desiring to be used by God to save as many as possible.” In other words, we are to evangelize the lost. Our first priority at First Church is to bring people into a relationship with Christ. And here in Luke 15, Jesus tells three stories to remind us that the church is to be a place where lost people truly matter.
