Title: Remain Faithful
Passage: Acts 20
Speaker: Mitch Myer (Youth Minister)
Use the following questions based on today’s sermon as a starting point for spiritual discussions with your family or a small group of Christian friends this week.
Fellowship—Relationship with a Purpose
· With whom have you forged faithful friendships within the church? Describe those friendship dynamics.
· How do you bear the burdens of others in the church or community? Is there anyone you can think of right now that needs help or support?
Growth—Thinking About Spiritual Matters
· Has there been any events or circumstances in your life that have caused you to rethink your priorities? Explain.
· Tell about a time when you accidentally fell asleep during something. Did you feel regret or embarrassment or anything else?
· In what areas do you currently serve in the church and in what new areas might you be interested?
· Paul was a great example of a faithful believer and gospel worker. Who in your life has served as a great example for you in faithfulness to God?
· Have you ever experienced someone trying to come into the church to teach incorrect doctrine? If so, explain. If not, how would you handle that?
·Is there any specific way you see a need for spiritual growth in your life – deeper relationships, serving, daily faithfulness, encouraging others, or giving more?
Prayer – Taking Your Thoughts to God
· Remaining faithful can be challenging at times. It is easier to remain faithful when we think about how faithful God has been to us. Give God glory and gratitude and thanksgiving for his faithfulness.
