With much tragedy and trouble in our world, the question that’s looming out there is, “Is God punishing people for disobedience today?” Jesus teaches directly about this issue, and the answer might surprise many!

“Not at all! And you will perish, too, unless you repent of your sins and turn to God.” v3

“And what about the eighteen people who died when the tower in Siloam fell on them? Were they the worst sinners in Jerusalem?” v4

“No, and I tell you again that unless you repent, you will perish, too.” v5

Action Points:
Make an inventory of your life and see if there is anything that you need to repent of.

Make a list of people in your life who are under the false impression that God is punishing through calamity so that you might pray for them.
