1.     IN EVERY AREA OF LIFE, THERE ARE CERTAIN

AND PRINCIPLES THAT WE MUST KNOW TO MAKE GREAT DECISIONS.

2.     KNOWING THE RULES IN THAT AREA DOESN’T MAKE THE DECISION FOR US, BUT IT

OUR OPTIONS.

        Being aware or knowing the rules or principles of a particular area is not enough.

Big Idea:
3.     IN ORDER TO MAKE GREAT DECISIONS, YOU MUST

TO THE RULES.

        Think about this: The direction of your life determines your destination.   Your decisions determine your direction.

4.     WHEN IT COMES TO MAKING LIFE DECISIONS, WE ARE OFTEN

TO SUBMIT TO GOD.

Ecclesiastes 2:10  I denied myself nothing my eyes desired; I refused my heart no pleasure.

Ecclesiastes 2:17  So now I hate life because it is all so irrational; all is foolishness, chasing the wind.

Proverbs 9:8  Do not rebuke a mocker or he will hate you; rebuke a wise man and he will love you. 9 Instruct a wise man and he will be wiser still; teach a righteous man and he will add to his learning. 10 “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. 11 For through me your days will be many, and years will be added to your life. 12 If you are wise, your wisdom will reward you; if you are a mocker, you alone will suffer.”

5.     “THE

        WISDOM

WITH THE RECOGNITION OF WHO GOD IS.

        RECOGNITION AND REVERENCE LEADS TO

.

        SUBMISSION IS NOT ABOUT WHAT HE ASKS OF US, IT IS ABOUT WHO HE IS.

Proverbs 9:10  “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. 11 For through me your days will be many, and years will be added to your life. 12 If you are wise, your wisdom will reward you; if you are a mocker, you alone will suffer.”

Parallel ideas:
Wisdom = Reward
Mocker = Suffer
