Food For Thought

1. Do you or your community have any enemies? Why is this the case?

2. The disciples seem to be unprepared here, since they were caught sleeping in the previous passage, and thus acted poorly. Is this the same for us?

3. How does Christ’s compassion toward this injured person demonstrate the healing of relationships?

4. Have you had reconciliation with an enemy before? What did that look like? Are there times reconciliation isn’t wise? How can you still keep from harboring bitterness even when that is the case?
