Proverbs 27:6 NASB
Faithful are the wounds of a friend, but deceitful are the kisses of an
enemy.

A true friend will be honest with you because they actually want you to
get the most out of life. They want to see you succeed in ways, and use your
strengths and gifts, not spin around in circles trying to do a bunch of things you
weren’t meant to do.

Are the people closest to you honest with you, or just always pleasant?
Do they know your strengths and weaknesses and have you given them the
ability to call them out when they see it without getting overly offended?

Do you have people who walk with you through the good times and the bad times?

Proverbs 17:17 NIV
A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a time of adversity.

Do you have people who speak life over you?

See who you allow up close can even have redeeming power over even the worst of
situations.

2 Timothy 1:12 NIV
“That is why I am suffering as I am, yet this is not cause for shame Because
I know “Whom” I have believed.
