DISCUSS
1. Is it possible for us to love unconditionally as God loves us? Why do you think kindness is a fruit of the Spirit?
2. Why do you think kindness is an overlooked way to love others?
3. How have you received God’s loving-kindness?
4. Have you ever been taken in and treated as family (as Mephibosheth was by David)? If so, how did it feel?
5. What kind of simple tasks can you do with unusual kindness?
6. Are you looking for some to whom you can be kind to…in your household? in your neighborhood? at work? at school?
7. Are there relationships or settings or situations in your life in which you’re tempted toward incivility? What would it look like to replace that incivility with kindness?

PRAY
Lord, help me to be kind and compassionate to others, forgiving others, just as in Christ you forgave me.
