2 Timothy 1:1-7

1. Present other
who will inspire their faith in Christ and devotion to His Word.
v. 1 – Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God
2.
v. 2- my beloved child: Grace, mercy, & peace from God the Father
3.
v. 3 - I remember you constantly in my prayers night and day
4.
v. 4 - I long to see you, that I may be filled with joy
5.
v. 5 - a faith that dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother
Eunice and now, I am sure, dwells in you as well.
6.
v. 6 - fan into flame the gift of God;
Romans 8:6-8
7.
and teach them how to overcome theirs.
v. 7 - God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power, love, and
self-control.
