We Can’t Be Outdone Being Undone
Before God revives our nation, He will revive His Church!
In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and the train of His robe filled the temple. Above it stood seraphim; each one had six wings: with two he covered his face, with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. And one cried to another and said:
“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; The whole earth is full of His glory!”
And the posts of the door were shaken by the voice of him who cried out, and the house was filled with smoke.
So I said: “Woe is me, for I am undone! Because I am a man of unclean lips,
And I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; For my eyes have seen the King,
The Lord of hosts.” —Isaiah 6:1-5 (NKJV)
He wants to undo our pride. (Isaiah 6:1)
But when he had become powerful, he also became proud, which led to his downfall. He sinned against the Lord…So King Uzziah had leprosy until the day he died. —2 Chronicles 26:16, 21
Pride needs to die in us for anything of heaven to live in us. —Andrew Murray
He wants to undo our familiar. (Isaiah 6:5)
There’s always a wrecking before there’s a reviving.
We’ve become so familiar with God that we’ve lost the awe of God.
“We will only find God’s manifest presence in an atmosphere where He’s held with the utmost respect. You will never find God’s wonderful presence in an atmosphere where He’s not revered and held in awe.” —John Bevere, The Awe of God
He wants to undo our apathy.
“The ashes must be removed, and the fire must never go out.” —Leviticus 6:8-13 (NLT)
Never restrain or put out the fire of the Holy Spirit. —1 Thessalonians 5:19 (TPT)
