coming at an hour you do not expect. 45 “Who then is a faithful
and sensible servant, whom his master has put in charge of his
household, to give them food at the proper time? 46 That slave
whose master finds him working when he comes will be
rewarded.

END TIMES TERMS

• Prophecy: a detailed prediction of the future before it happens.

• Apocalypse: a revealing of something previously hidden.

• Armageddon: the ultimate end time war of the world with God.

• The Rapture: the catching away of the believers to heaven prior to the pouring out of God’s wrath on planet earth.

• Second Coming: the return of Christ to earth at the end of the world.

• The Tribulation: the approximately seven-year period of unprecedented suffering on earth corresponding with Daniel’s seventieth week. Billions will die during this time.

• The Great Tribulation: the 42 months of extreme anguish on earth during the last half of the tribulation as Anti-Christ rules and God’s wrath is poured out in full measure.

• The Anti-Christ: the satanic superman who rises to power to lead a one world government that severely persecutes Jews and Christians.

• The False Prophet: the religious leader who induces the world to worship Anti-Christ.

• Signs of the Times: prophetic markers on the horizon that get our attention and give us a glimpse of things to come during the end times.

• Prophetic Birth Pangs: events and trends that increase in frequency and intensity as the end draws near
