WARM UP QUESTION
In the month of December, we will be focused on Gratitude. What is something you are grateful for right now?

HEAD: These questions help us examine the Word.
1. Read Mark 4:35-41. What does this story teach us about our human tendencies?
2. What does this story teach us about God’s character?

HEART: These questions help us wrestle with what we believe.
3. In the message, Jim said: “we think the storms of life are an indication of God’s absence”. Can you identify a time where you deeply felt God’s absence?
4. What did God’s promises and the truth of God’s Word do for you during that time?

HAND: These questions help us bring truth and beliefs into our everyday life.
5. How can we effectively encourage one another with God’s promises while not minimizing each other’s pain and disappointments?
